The Anna Louise Inn has provided women in Cincinnati with safe and affordable housing since 1909 in its Lytle Park district location, but now it faces continuing pressure from Western-Southern to be forcibly relocated. The latest push has been a zoning lawsuit that has stalled the Inn’s planned renovations. With the time limit on the Inn’s $10 million federal tax credit for the project winding down, it is more important than ever that the community shows its support. A hearing is scheduled for August 10th at the Hamilton County Courthouse, during which Judge Norbert Nadel will consider a motion to dismiss the lawsuit against the Anna Louise Inn.
Cincinnati Union Bethel is asking for organizations and individuals to sign on to a statement of support. MARCC has joined other organizations in publicly endorsing the Anna Louise Inn and we encourage you to do the same.
